Mr Albright’s boys

The pompous fake legacy of this Quaker chemical manufacturer became well established and cemented in the area where his company really wrought havoc, pollution and death. Civic society and libraries have disgraced themselves in promoting the philanthropic fable for many years, though people like Carnegie were of the same exact ilk.

I have already exposed the Albright and Wilson families as ones who lived in privilege and position within the framework of the ghastly society of friends- foxhunting scum.

Albright like the Cadbury’s and others of this liberal none religion pushed their capitalist monopolies like drug pushers, combining this with fake philanthropy and interference with the poor for their “betterment”. So many of “the society of friends”, of generational privilege, were eugenicists or sympathetic to its ideals of white supremacy, though they just would not admit openly to this.

Albright appears to have travelled extensively , making racist observations under the guise of a white saviour complex, indeed the ludicrous “100 years of phosphorus making” tomb to this company sets aside a whole chapter telling us how wonderful the Oxford born phossy bore was:

“One cause which especially appealed to him was the betterment of  enslaved negroes.”

Apparently he was involved with an organisation called “The National Freedmen’s Aid Union” raising money by tapping up other wealthy whites during The American Civil war- of course nothing to do with him at all as a British citizen, and an independent country. .

It is incredible that this organisation supplied them with the very tools of their enslavement oppression, albeit without chains. The strings attached however cannot have escaped the Quaker emancipators. The so called “freedmen” were only “free” in name, and would have continued to work for their elitist white “masters” on a pittance, perhaps feeling obligation and gratitude. For “Stockholm syndrome” read “freedmen’s syndrome”.

Was this the Quaker motivation for sourcing cheap industrial labour and a devoted loyal workforce, for their industrialist expansion? I believe it to be the motive of people like Arthur Albright.

The “friends” magazine bulletin of the time below show how “generous” Mr Albright was.

spades and hoes, FFS!

Would Arthur have corrected his “freed””friends” and told them to call him “Arthur” if they had called him “Mr Albright” or “boss”? I very much doubt it, because people like him of such privilege never really understand equal in the eyes of God.

“Negroes in Central and East Africa had cause to be grateful to him some twenty-five years later, when he employed with equal success his N.F.A.U methods to secure proper enforcement of the laws made for their protection”

The quixotic narration by Threlfall in this book, and others like him, is well past its sell by date, but unfortunately the interference of the liberal class still persists in a constant aid machine guilt trip. If people in foreign countries could only be “educated” , or “civilised”- even if they don’t want to behave like those in the West, they may become Quaker pygmalions.

…and 400 pages of bullshit

This is the problem I have with these characters from history, held up as white messiahs and industrial philanthropists. With recent events, we have seen commentary on de-platforming those involved in slavery , but do we really need plaudits for characters like Albright and co whose patronising antics were always about “betterment” and establishing “education” or re-education into a Western philosophy in a “society of friends” setting- i.e of white privilege?

Besides his white saviour complex, Albright like his Quaker peers had a “rich saviour complex”, and like all the modern day phoney philanthropists and their insidious involvement in health and vaccinating , (particularly in the third world),  foisted such schemes on those of a lower class or earning. But his life was undoubtedly one of wealth and affluence in that he employed servants living within his own household. The census listings for the last 40 years of his life, (he died in 1900) show some interesting observations.

By 1861 he was living in George Street in Birmingham with his wife Rachael and five listed children, including the sadistic animal murderer George. Listed are a cook, a nurse, a nursemaid, and a governess.

By 1881, now aged 70, and still living with the lampit five in the new hive of a pretentious place called “Mariemont”  in the posh part of Edgbaston, he had five servants, but just look at the age of William Partridge, just 13 years old!

By 1891 he still had five servants, but a replacement new boy Roger Birch- also 13 years old.

Perhaps this was just the times, but it appears to me that this was no great libertarian, but a child slave labour merchant; it just surprises me that he hadn’t smuggled in a few child Africans into his suitcase to “save” them in working for him, where they would no doubt have had the pleasure of contracting phossy jaw by manufacturing the substance of death for which he is so well known and made so much money.

Other young boys did work at the Albright and Wilson factory in Oldbury at the same period, with the picture of Billy James -“boy gate keeper” from 1896 featured in the company history book.

Standing on a heap of coal slag with poorly fitting clothes and a workhouse ill favoured look.

Who knows what became of young Billy, who can be no older than 11 or 12 in this picture.

If he could get them young, and groom them into his factory methods, perhaps they would make fine young men, and their sons in turn would also be welcomed into the factory fold to preserve the legacy of their “master”. There’s a great deal of money to be made in exploiting the poor, and “the society of friends” knew exactly how to achieve it.

S2920004

Not sure if this was supposed to be Prometheus (Greek mythology legend who stole fire from the Gods), but why depicted as a young naked boy cherub in the Albright and Wilson company logo? Perhaps only Arthur could tell us?

More Barnett family falls and fortunes

scan0010

I have previously outlined how workers at Samuel Barnett‘s dangerous Rattlechain brickworks site had died but had received little in the way of public attention. Another had seriously broken his leg leaving him unable to work.

The main architect of the creation of Rattlechain lagoon, a 100 yards deep claypit which had flooded due to dubious practices of placing hot ashes near to the canal bank, had already lost his left arm in earlier life at the nearby Stour Valley Brickworks, but received the ultimate karma when falling from his horse and cart.

I have found another article from The Dudley Chronicle of 11th May 1918 which gives a far more graphic account of his injuries, and also throws further light on one of his sons William. Both were local councillors in a time when money bought you a great deal, and when connections with the bench could certainly bring you dodgy legal victories against your opponents.

The 64 year old brickmaker, born in 1854, had died in a collision with a lamp post after his cart had been startled by a tram.

There is something rather farcical in the detail of what happened, the traction engine driven by “Shadrach Strickland”- what a name, who was employed by Pat Collins of the Walsall funfair fame.

Barnett’s last ride  😆 had seen him and his son Bert thrown out. Barnett senior had fractured his skull, broken his pelvis, and had obviously suffered great shock after the “Greatest showman’s” owned vehicular manoeuvre. Collins himself would become a politician in this very year, and future mayor of Walsall. Funny how people in business get on isn’t it?

All aboard the Karma carousel

On  1st June 1918 , from the same paper, and following the funeral, we get the political eulogy at the Rowley Regis Urban council meeting. Barnett Snr apparently represented The Tividale ward (or more aptly his own business interest in this area), and had been a councillor for many years.

I’m afraid these sycophantic political affairs leave me absolutely cold, and do not change my mind at all that this man was a wrong un, who could buy whatever he wanted.

THE LIFE AND TIMES OF SAMUEL BARNETT

From census records it is possible to trace the life of Tividale’s brick making “righty” supremo. The first record dates from the 1861 census, where he was 6, though for some reason there appears to be speculation as to whether the year of birth was a year later. Born to brickmaker John, and “Letha”, the address of Portway Road Oldbury is given, and by this time, he had already got 4 siblings. It is also interesting to note that a servant lived with the family. I’m not sure at what factory his father worked or owned, but it is clear that this was already a wealthy family for the area.

By 1871, The family had swelled to 9 children- how they loved putting them in the kilns in those days.  😆 By now, Barnett would have had his accident and obviously was looking to follow in his father’s footsteps.

In 1881, the address given is now The Three Crowns Inn, Portway Road, where John is listed as publican and brickmaker. Samuel at 26 still lives at home and is listed as an “agent.”

By 1891, the intervening ten years sees “Brickmaster” Samuel married to “Levina”, and now residing at an address in Brades Road, Oldbury. They have churned out 7 moulds, including sons William, Joseph, Arthur and Bert. A “Mary Hailey” who is supposedly his sister also lives at the address.

year of birth now 1853? Make your mind up Sam.

Into the new millennium, and two years after the infamous canal breach, in 1901 Barnett Snr, now 47, and the year of birth changed to 1854, is listed as “brick manufacturer”. The Stour valley and rattlechain works were now on the go, and his sons were obviously being drawn into the trade- William– brick yard manager, Joseph and Thomas– brick yard clerks, and interestingly- Arthur– an auctioneers clerk. The family were now living in Tividale Road. His wife, obviously the same one appears on the transcript of the census, to change her name every ten years 😮 His sister Mary also appears to have a changing surname. He also employs a live in servant- obviously money making bricks could get you quite a bit.

In 1911, the last census for Sam of course, would see him still living in Tividale Road at an address known as “The Orchards”. Both he and his wife are listed as brick manufacturers, and his two sons Joseph and Bert assistants. Several children have now flown the nest, but Sam now employs two servants. The curious Mary is now listed in a third name as his niece! There is no “Julius Barnett” in existence, as stated in the 1912 Brick and Clay Record American article, in the last post I did.

There is a known story concerning his son Arthur. Obviously turning his back on the family business and indeed country, he made a new but short lived life in Australia, where he was killed in action in 1916 in The First World War. This must have had a devastating effect on his father, who commissioned a life size model dressed in knight armour which was placed in the former St Michaels Church in Tividale. The story goes that this was eventually thrown out for scrap, though pictures exist of what it looked like.

In terms of what he left behind financially, Samuel Barnett left a great deal of wealth from his brick works at the time of his death in 1918.

I’ve put this total into The National archives money convertor from 2017, and it is clear that he would have died a millionaire in todays terms. This would have been even more in the 1915 calculation and obviously declining due to the impact of the war.

But how many bricks?

His sons obviously carried on with this legacy, but the political brick building dynasty suffered a further blow with the death of Councillor William some 11 years later at the age of 51. The Dudley Chronicle of 14 March 1929 records what “greatness” he brought to Tividale, without actually mentioning a single evidential bloody thing.

It is interesting to note his connections with the sewerage board, given that his pecuniary interest  in a brickworks lay right next to the sewage works in John’s Lane.

Trotter’s independent trader

There is much more of this sanctimonious horse shit , which I have cut, but the names of some of the mourners are of note in relation to those in the employment at The Rattlechain brickworks. Frank Dawes crops up in 1899 with the canal breach fiasco, and must have been the go to consigliere for the family Barnett, and is mentioned in his will too.

Bricker Bill left a more modest sum than his father, to his Fanny, a brickworks manager Called George Harrold, and the ever appreciative Frank.

Trotter Bill could have left 70 horses with his loot

The Titford brickworks mentioned in the chronicle article were located on the Griffin Industrial Estate, next to where the M5 passes today near Causeway Green.

I’m not sure what happened with the works at Rattlechain after this date, as it starts to get very clouded at this point, though some time near the 2nd world war, it came under control of the conman Sydney Sheldon, who did much to continue the self interest of the Barnett’s in making Tividale their very own stomping ground , and in his case an absolute shit tip.

From records from 1938, it is possible to see that it was an industrial smoke nuisance on the radar of the local board of health in Rowley Regis, (as well as the Brades works), in a report- what a great legacy the Barnett family gave to the area, where of course when councillors, they could have written off such complaints.

Personally I have no time for the Barnett family and those like them. No one would begrudge them making a living, in fact the brickmaking industry provided necessary materials, but their thirst for power through monopolisation and position made them greedy and arrogant, and their civic involvement made them think that they were untouchable.

It’s a character flaw seen in all others who followed in connection to this wretched brickworks and what was left behind from it. The Barnett’s ultimately made the vessel of Rattlechain lagoon and the dross that went into it, just like all the other clay hole diggers who left great voids in the land. They were the architects of a vile fetid waste industry and should never be feted.

An extraordinary #Rattlechain Brick and Clay record

Well, I thought I had found all there was available to find with the former Rattlechain brickworks, which forms the bowl of the hazardous waste lagoon of today, but how wrong I was!

Barnett’s appear to have used their own branded canal boats.

I have found an extraordinary article from an obscure American publication called “The Brick and Clay Record” , which dates from 1st January 1912. It appears that the author of the piece had travelled to The brickworks in Dudley Port at the invitation of the Barnett family, at this point, Samuel Barnett still being alive and in control of the site, now run also with his “sons”. Indeed, one of these referred to as  “Julius” is also pictured.

Not only does the piece describe in very exact detail the specifications and methods used to produce the fabled Staffordshire blue bricks, from which the marl in the pit was extracted, but it also shows a picture of the long forgotten Stour Valley Brickworks, also owned by Barnett, and situated on the canal further down in the direction of Tipton.

1904 map.

1904 map showing Barnett’s Stour Valley and Rattlechain brickworks and associated marl pits in close proximity off the Birmingham Mainline Canal at Dudley Port.

I didn’t believe that any pictures of this site existed, which commenced construction from around 1894, except for a very obscure view offered on one of the postcards of the infamous canal collapse of 1899 below, and another view published in The Engineer magazine.

The Stour Valley works highlighted

But just look at this!

Wow, what a picture!

The article states that this larger operation produced 70,000 bricks per day, with rattlechain at 40,000.

Of course the name “rattlechain” takes its name from the type of chain used at the site.

The BP book of Industrial archaeology by Neil Cossons 1975 describes the manner in which it was used.

The visit of the American abroad appears to have seen the site in its heyday when it was still being run for brickmaking instead of being run down by characters like the dodgy Sydney Sheldon, who sold off most of the surrounding lands, and then the site itself for tips and housing. The author writes

“This is one of the largest clay making concerns in The British Isles , and the representative of Brick and Clay Record was received most cordially by members of the firm, both Mr S. Barnett and Mr Julius  Barnett, his son, as well as their representative, Mr A. Tongue, treating me in the most hospitable manner and affording me all possible assistance in securing information regarding their plant and methods. “

Indeed, “Julius” Barnett, and A. Tongue– who I have never heard of before, are pictured in front of the  recently patented continuous kiln, which produced blue bricks. I am not sure of who “Julius” actually was, as there is no record of anyone by this given name in existence in official census listings of the time. Perhaps this was Barnett’s son William, Joseph or Thomas, or another who used this alias or middle name?

The blue bricks are described in detail, “The brick is not only blue on the surface, but is also of the same dark colour throughout the stratum.”

These type of bricks were burnt to a higher temperature than other red bricks, and for longer at 6 full days.

The article observes that women were being employed at Rattlechain which is interesting-(were they cheaper? ), and that the site had been in operation for around 100 years, as according to his source- The Barnetts. (N.B An article from The British Clayworker of 1908 states that Barnett had took on the lease of the rattlechain works in 1882.)

Compare this with the evidence offered by the man himself at the trial where he claimed damages from The canal board for the breach in 1899.

The “continuous kilns” referred to it is claimed were patents of The Barnett family, and the other type of kiln for producing the blue bricks, also a patent of Barnett and Hadlington– and is described in quotes by the author in great detail from the piece that had already been written in The British Clayworker periodical previously.

I’m fairly sure from the shape of this basin, that this is Rattlechain

The name Hadlington, although a common name in Dudley, is also mentioned as their employer and  “contractor”in the death of workmen who lost their lives building the Barnett stack in 1906. I would imagine that the two are likely connected or the same person.

The pit

On the fourth page of the article we get a picture of the rattlechain  brickworks pit itself, though there is little to gauge from the perspective as to where it was taken.

Dubious depth

The statement is made that; “The pit from which the clay is taken, is 105 feet in depth from the surface, all the materials being taken out by hand, no steam shovels or mechanical tools of any kind being used.”

I instantly take issue with the claimed depth in feet because of contradictory evidence supplied by another reliable source, The Engineer magazine from 1899 at the event of the canal breach.

“The marl-hole, although, 100 yards deep, and having a surface boundary of about  three acres, was quickly filled to the brim, whilst nearly two  acres of surrounding meadows were also submerged.”

This article was not written by someone who had been informed by the Barnetts , and I also think that this may have also been deliberate misinformation given to the American author by them. The article implies that the brickmaking family had been after a monopolisation of local brickmaking, and had been “wrecking” other sites in order to make themselves the sole supplier, and limit over production through their own works. In this way of course they could control the price and make it very profitable as a result by lowering production. They would eventually take up expansion of sites in Titford and also in Walsall of course.

The article below also shows that in 1914, he purchased The Gower brick works, at this time in greater capacity than those at Rattlechain. This site would become the site of the infamous Albright and Wilson Gower tip. Was he buying these sites up just to “wreck” them and then flog off the empty voids for tipping purposes?

24th December Birmingham Daily Post.

By claiming that the Rattlechain  pit was well below capacity, and that only 100ft had been dug gave a psychological edge in that they would have had decades worth of marl to dig, perhaps forcing competitors to sell up who knew that their own capacity was probably nearing its end.

That the works had supposedly been in operation for 100 years, and that over 7 miles of canal at a depth of 6 feet had been emptied, also tells me that this pit would have been much deeper at the time of the breach than 100 feet, and more like the 100 yards claimed in The Engineer.

There are perhaps reasons to do with the structural failure of the canal bank and pit which Barnett would not have publicly wanted to admit to- such as digging too deep into the marl and potentially facing liability for another incident when he was dumping ashes from the brickworks operation liberally. We do not know how the breach was repaired, as there appear to be no records of how this was achieved.

It is also worth stating that this article was written 12 years after the breach, and so would have been deeper than at the time of the incident, and going further forward to the 1940’s when it is claimed that work on this pit stopped, (and the conman Sheldon sort permission to dig from another hole), it would have been deeper still. 40,000 bricks per day seems an awful lot of marl required to me, and I genuinely believe The Engineer article over this one as an accurate historical source.

It is also stated that the eventual hand made bricks were shipped via canal barge, their own, as has been seen from the picture of the boats in The Rattlechain basin.

Appears to say “S. Barnett and sons Dudley Port”

“…an average barge containing 8,000 brick or a weight of about 35 tonnes.”

It is also stated that some of the rattlechain bricks were also shipped via rail, but with a lower capacity than American train cars.

It is claimed that the Barnett operation was a military supplier, and that they shipped bricks around the UK as well as abroad. This is where the article again relies on information from a biased source itself, and also starts to read as more of prospectus for the family firm.

Barnett’s position as councillor would have been able to have facilitated many favourable outcomes, and it appears that the newly built Birmingham council house was being made from the inside of Barnett bricks. Perhaps in the years that followed, from those employed and serving there, it has been as rotten from the inside ever since.  😯

As a primary source, this Brick and Clay Record account is interesting but also a little questionable, as it is very favourable towards The Barnett enterprise, and perhaps almost serves as an advertisement to an American market.

There are massive elephants in the room that are omitted from the piece, and which Sam and “Jules” left out of their fairy tale castle construction – especially the 1899 canal breach and the effect that this had on production and the area itself- not least as a direct result of Samuel Barnett’s dodgy activities. There is also the convenient omission of the deaths of men who built the stack from which the bricks were created- just 5 years earlier, as though it had never happened. No mention is also made of Samuel Barnett’s disability of loosing an arm in earlier life at the age of 16 at The Stour Valley works. No mention of health and safety is even made in the article, just the boast of brickwork manufacture rate. Of course the American observer was reliant in the information being given to him, and would not have been able to scrutinise whether the information being fed through the rollers was accurate, but the brickmakers themselves would of course be a little reticent in telling him anything harmful to their reputation whilst romancing the tale.

The blue bricks referred to in the article were used extensively in canal and railway architecture, especially in the local area. An example below shows a railway viaduct in Park Lane East, Tipton, but were they Barnett bricks made at Rattlechain or Stour Valley?

The Stour Valley Brickworks, stated to be not in use in this article would not remain for long. Although still present on the 1919 ordnance survey map now renamed “The Stour valley NEW brickworks” , they are gone by the next in 1938, with the merging of the Pit and also the Groveland Colliery pit forming the Vono Lagoon that would be used for indiscriminate dumping, before that too was infilled to form an extension to the London Works rolling Mill, and more latterly, the Autobase Industrial Estate.

Overlay of Stour Valley works site from 1904 map with current bing map imagery.

The position of The Stour Valley works, in relation to The Rattlechain lagoon of today.

Nothing of either these brickworks now remain, except the canal basins which once served them. The Stour Valley basin still contains water, though the rattechain basin, only during periods of heavy rainfall.

The Stour Valley works would have sat on top of this hill

Samuel Barnett died in 1918 after a fall from a horse and cart, not far from his home. I will be looking in greater detail into this and also the fate of the Barnett family in the next post, but until then, enjoy this piece of fascinating local history.

White Phosphorus misadventures#3 Grange Spill

It defies belief that white phosphorus appears to have been present in school science lessons well into the 1980’s at least. The amateur chemist teachers obviously believed it would be a good trick to make their class sit up and take interest in demonstrating the more spectacular chemical reactions- in this case allowing the P4 to be exposed to oxygen where it would spontaneously combust.

P 4 (s) + 5 O 2 (g) → P 4 O 10 (s)

But as this post shows, there appear to have been many laboratory disasters arising from these failed experiments, leaving question marks as to why this banned rat poison and toxic hazard was ever allowed anywhere near such reckless idiots (and by that I mean the teachers!).  😳

Rooooooowwwwlaaaand! Sign him up for Albright and Wilson

The Torbay Express and South Devon Echo reported that a school teacher had been hurt on 17th December 1959 in a “mishap”.

The master required hospital treatment after being burnt when cutting a piece of white phosphorus. The waxy solid nature of the material had also caused splinters which became infused with the surface , also spontaneously combusting. I think this shows poor handling technique on the part of this teacher, as it was quite preventable.

The following year, The Birmingham Daily Post of ironically 5th November, gave another account of a clumsy Wednesfield Grammar school teacher who had been burnt by P4.

Incredibly after he had been burnt by a piece of phosphorus, he had also been unaware that some carbon disulphide was in the same fume cupboard that he dropped the phosphorus into. This chemical dissolves white phosphorus , and then when exposed to air flames in a violent exothermic reaction. Having dropped the bottle of CS2 a fire started leading a a rapid evacuation of the classroom.

The 28th June Haywood Advertiser of 1963 told how a lab class assistant had been gassed by phosphorus petoxide. It required firemen with breathing apparatus to extinguish the fire. No explanation is given as to why someone with supposed chemical knowledge would attempt to put out a phosphorus fire with a water extinguisher!

Another careless educator was burned as reported again by The Torbay Express and South Devon Echo of 10th February 1972. Once again the p4 had been exposed to air, igniting before she could put it back in water. Professional attendance was again required to deal with the incident.

On  Thursday 27 January 1977, The Newcastle Journal confirmed how 1000 school pupils had had to be evacuated after another phosphorus lesson gone wrong. A piece of phosphorus had been dropped on the floor, which resulted in a rapid evolving of toxic phosphorus pentoxide.

It is all very well congratulating teachers on an evacuation, but the statement about “treatment” by washing the skin with water after exposure to phosphorus pentoxide is absolutely laughable, and it is not attributed to any particular person. This is of course, the last thing that you would want to do, given that it would form phosphoric acid, causing more serious burns of the skin, as well as damage to the eyes!

Another 70’s caper took place at a school in the Kent and Sussex Courier area, as reported in the 3rd November edition of 1978.

A teacher and pupil were burnt when a jar of P4 had spilt onto a bench. The fact that the bench had to be removed to get rid of the piece of phosphorus shows how this chemical continues to burn through material when any oxygen is present. This is how it burns to the bone when people come into contact with it, and why phosphorus burns are some of the worst you can possibly get.

A local story from 19th October 1988 Sandwell Evening Mail tells how another teacher from Smethwick’s West park college  was burnt by phosphorus, but by the misadventure of his pupils blowing it onto him when they used a fire extinguisher of C02. Perhaps a case of “To Sir, with glove”  😆

Fire station attendance was again needed, and perhaps a little advice for those who had taken part in this demonstration gone wrong!

These incidents remind me of the many mishaps associated with the AW bombs that Albright and Wilson manufactured for the hapless Home Guard. It seems odd to me that those leading these classroom lessons did not appear to have any damp cloth or bucket of sand at hand to deal with the incidents before they got out of hand and led to the fires and burns.

I think with all these repeated experiments that ended the wrong way, the pupils should have taken the lead and told their masters to refrain from showing off with phosphorus. Just take it as read that it catches fire when exposed to air, and is bloody dangerous!

White Phosphorus misadventures #2 Irish cake and The Black Widow Mary Wilson

Murder and white phosphorus were a common occurrence when the deadly poison was still easily available with few questions asked. As the following story shows from The Belfast Telegraph dated 15th November 1956, it was used particularly in food to disguise the taste and smell.

An Irish girl had sent four people a p4 poison laced cake. Unfortunately for her, she had not done a very good job of disguising the chemical, which meant that those on the receiving end had been able to discern the food was a bit off.

The psychopath was sent to the nut house

Aside from Louisa Merryfield, one of the most famous murder cases involving white phosphorus poisoning occurred around the same time. By now it was becoming obvious to the authorities that a common rat poison was being put to nefarious extra uses. “The merry widow of Windy Nook” was a quite bizarre case, particularly because of the age of the killer and her carefree manner,  and the 11th February 1958 Daily Herald outlined the charge against Mary Wilson.

She collected husbands , who died very quickly

Money appears to have been the prime motive of the 66 year olds intent. To lose one husband within a fortnight may have been unfortunate, but two within the same time frame was a test for the imagination.

The 25th March Birmingham Daily Post continued coverage of the trial, where the prosecution outlined how the “deadly” beetle poison that Wilson had used had been found in the two unfortunate husbands, whose deaths had originally been deemed due to “natural causes”. This also shows the complete failure of the doctors and the medical proffession in general to undertake proper and robust investigation.

The Daily Mirror of 25th March 1958 also reported on “the wicked woman’s” dealings.

And so the inevitable guilty verdict as reported by Birmingham Daily Press of 31st March 1958. Wilson’s defence that the phosphorus found had been found in her husbands’ medication was a ludicrous nonsense and she was sentenced to death. She was however spared execution, and died just five years later in Holloway prison- the year in which The Animal Cruel Poisons Regulations banned the use of white phosphorus in “vermin” control.

White Phosphorus misadventures#1 Early deaths

The most obvious known fact about this substance in its vile unnatural elemental form is that it is a deadly poison. For this reason it was used extensively in the world of “vermin” control, as I have looked at before. It was also used in matches, before this too was eventually banned because of the phossy jaw effects that it had on those making them.

These are a few early articles from the 19th Century I have found from the newspaper archive which demonstrate the lethal potential of element 15, and why even a small amount of this chemical ended the lives of those who had the misfortune to come into contact with it by varying means. Albright and Wilson had of course by now set up their dirty producing factory at Oldbury.

From 24th August 1864 Oxfordshire Telegraph, we get the story of the death of a four year old boy, Thomas Hill who had eaten some rat poison purchased from a chemist by his father.

Bizarrely he had laced some bread and butter and placed it in his children’s bedroom! The children had taken this from a shelf and scoffed the lot  😡

His mouth set on fire and he took 5 days to die. This act of “gross carelessness” by the parents demonstrates how this substance, available cheaply and easily was being manufactured. Albright and Wilson were by now in business and producing phosphorus for this very purpose, and perhaps all those involved in the manufacture of this rat bait were as culpable as the idiot father. Incredibly it would be another 100 years before The Animal Cruel Poisons Regulations came into effect , banning this “poison of most deadly character.”

Two years later, The Western Daily Press article of 21st December tells of another bizarre phosphorus fatality of Robert Ellis. Ellis, around 20 years old,  had reportedly picked up what he thought was a sweet, but was in fact a stick of white phosphorus lying on the ground. This he had put in his pocket. This had then caught fire producing considerable burns. After being admitted to hospital , he then died a short time later. The inquest heard the circumstances to how the white phosphorus stick had likely got there.

The inquest was inaccurately told that phosphorus burns were not more harmful than others- of course this is not true at all as they are much more serious in that if the substance is not completely removed it will go on burning to the bone, especially attracted to fatty tissue, also resulting in serious organ failure through systemic poisoning.

It is interesting to note that the dead man had used wet clay to put the fire in his pocket out. One could draw some conclusions about how white phosphorus contaminated material at rattlechain my be contained in the clay pit there, but does not reduce the risk within the pit itself.

It is revealed that a quantity of phosphorus had been sold by a local chemist for quack health effects, when fools believed that white phosphorus was good for the nerves.

The story concocted by the man who had purchased the P4, a reporter called Henry Jennings stinks of bullshit, let alone garlic. He claimed that a bottle in which the phosphorus had been left in water had been taken from his garden, which was very near to where the piece of phosphorus had been picked up. .

The story of how the alleged stolen bottle of phosphorus, which was not found , but a piece left in the road was picked up by Robert Ellis drew no evidence, except that he had died as a result of phosphorus burns. I would seriously question if Jennings’ story was even true, and he had not dropped it himself and then disposed of the bottle to avoid blame.

Following the famous Match girls strike of 1888 concerning the plight of those young girls and women involved in the match making trade, The Newcastle Evening Chronicle of 2nd October records the death of 14 year old Ann Wood. It isn’t clear if this was an accident or deliberate suicide, but the fact that it took 6 days for her to die again highlights the prolonged agony of those who drank such a deadly potion.

The Crew Chronicle of 8th July 1899, demonstrates how phosphorus was also used for murderous purposes. Mary Ansell had sent a cake laced with P4 to her sister who had died, the motive being that of insurance fraud. She was herself sentenced to death for the crime.

The 20th Century would see many more cases such as this , most notably that of  Louisa Merryfield , and The Black Widow Mary Wilson, (who I will look at in the next post),  before common sense, largely though not completely, removed public access to this deathly element from out of their reach.

IWMD – a socialist hypocrisy

Today is International Workers Memorial Day– an event to commemorate those who have died in their place of work or as a result of it- largely by misadventure and perhaps deliberate negligence from their employers.

I have looked into the terrible price that many Albright and Wilson workers paid working for these Quaker capitalists, who like the disgusting Cadbury’s had an agenda of promoting themselves and their financial interests using alleged philanthropy.

Workers were burnt, mutilated , gassed and killed – all at Trinity Street whilst the Edgbaston mafia trotted with the fox hounds in rural bloodsport pursuits, or went for a spot of grouse shooting in Scotland.

The manner in which Albright and Wilson continued their denials about white phosphorus being harmful , and instead blamed tooth decay on “faulty teeth” is about as perverse a logic as you can get- but that is liberal socialism for you, and they then claim that they provide “dental care” for their workforce- by forced compliance to monitor and record personal information that would remove you from the production line if found to be “faulty”.

The two disgusting individuals below probably caused the early graves of many men and women.

Worse still was the AW legacy of industrial asbestos related disease, and when I came across a certain article in an Albright World magazine, I forwarded it to the law firm Irwin Mitchell- where I hope that maximum damage was done to those who had allowed such appalling practices to occur, and another nail in the coffin for the toxic legacy of these Langley bastards.

Blame it all on smoking, but not our asbestos dust itself. FFS

The individual cited in the article, the same J.P.W Hughes  as above, the supposed “group principal medical adviser”) had good form for talking out of his backside concerning employee health and safety. When he tried to claim that phossy jaw was in someway related to people who had bad teeth rather than by breathing in p4 vapour in the first place, it should be pointed out that as a director of this deceitful company between 1969-1974, that did not care about its workforce, he would have been financially liable if the workers had cottoned on to what they were being exposed to. This was ten years before the Health and Safety at Work Act. It is clear to see from this article’s ignorance just why the handling of asbestos is now claiming so many lives.

We are at the “crisis level peak” of these asbestos related illnesses currently, according to a Guardian article from last year, yet these workers now face being betrayed again with a hoax recorded on their death certificates that they died from “Covid-19”. “Underlying health conditions” appear to have been erased so that a fake cause of death can be recorded. Will ex workers or their dependents still be getting compensation from a UK Government whose “scientific advisers” failed to act to prevent exposure – no doubt after being bunged by the asbestos, shipping and construction industries to keep quiet?

But there are some cardboard cut out politicians in this area, Wolfie Smith wannabes , with clear financial links to this company who will no doubt be rolling out the purple ribbons with dewy eyes and saying “up the workers” today as well as clapping for the NHS. Equally sick are those who want to doctor history by promoting what was “made in Oldbury” , but not what was left behind as the  damaged result to  environmental and public health.

What a pile of stinking fucking hypocrites.

How to mummify yer Gran using white phosphorus

There can be little doubt that many 19th Century “scientists” were an insane posse of cranks and wierdos who devised ever crazier ideas of attempting to preserve and even create life. One can see that Mary Shelley’s Frankenstein, was perhaps not as far fetched as some of the white coated nutters’ efforts.

This piece from the Barmouth & County Advertiser –  21 January 1891 describes a method that had been tried to preserve the dead using Galvanoplasty. It’s just the sort of thing that should have been tried on Blue Peter, or perhaps Blue willy Peter.  😆

Though Albright and Wilson would claim many uses for white phosphorus, I do not think that this was one they have ever previously taken credit for.

Coming Mother

Frenchmen Dr Variot had tried this by firstly coating the corpse with silver nitrate. This was then reduced by using a dissolved white phosphorus in carbon disulphide. The vapours given off by this are shown in the video below.

Then it’s copper bath time for the old girl using an electric bath. Variot had calculated that leaving around half a millimetre of copper coating and then further incineration of the corpse leaving some holes would allow for the escape of gases!

A metallic moulded C3P0 statue capturing old Martha would be left behind. I don’t know why the idea never appears to have caught on.

Covid deceptions are all manmade

So where to start with this one! By now I think everyone has had their fill with world events that have now come to define our entire day to day existence in a dystopian world. One thing is for sure, by the end of all this we are all going to have rather long hair and a fetish for hand sanitizer and disposable latex gloves. But this is madness, and it has to stop, and like a growing number of people, who are side lined by thinking outside of the box that we are meant to think in, there is more to this Corona virus FRAUD than meets the eye.

As someone who has been involved with exposing a real manmade environmental and human health cover up, and as a student of human behaviour, what has happened with the Covid-19 “outbreak” is unprecedented in its scale and control of the population. When you have experienced the apathetic face of the authorities and the civil service who are in league with the business polluters, and especially the pharmaceuticals and chemical industries, you can see how this playbook is playing out.  This post is not off topic when talking about how this industry are largely behind the myths that we are now living with.

The greatest feeling that I have had about this manufactured “crisis” is that it has made me , very, very angry.  👿 And the main comment I wish to make about this in this post is that they are using what I have called “the attraction/distraction technique” – which will be evidenced throughout my arguments henceforth.

We are now meant to believe that the natural air that we breath out ourselves is now more toxic and dangerous to humanity than the unnatural toxicant shit that we are forced to breath in from industrial sources.

JUST HOW FUCKING PERVERTED IS THIS, YET PEOPLE HAVE NO COMMON SENSE TO EVEN  QUESTION IT AND HAVE SWALLOWED THE COVID -19 MORAL PANIC WHOLESALE!

Undoubtedly there is some illness out there, but coranoviruses are many- including the common cold, and seasonal flu- which kills thousands every single year- especially if they are already ill, and it is not identifiable that symptoms are distinct to the newly reported “Covid- 19” . A number of observations are notable from my perspective

  1. THE CHINESE VIRUS

There were many politically correct saddo’s who did not like this term, but it is an entirely accurate term because this “virus” originated in this country, or more specifically a Chinese Government laboratory in Wuhan.

China is a vile, culturally backward country in human and animal rights in particular. Its demented superstitious medicine markets are reliant on very rare species , as well as the appallling neandethal treatment of cats and dogs and so called “wet markets” where the bullshit lie about potential origin of the virus has been claimed.

I certainly do not believe that this came from some off bat soup, as the official narrative wants to steer us toward. If this was the case, and these type of markets have existed for a very long time, why has this “virus” suddenly appeared at this time? It makes no sense.

Animals and birds continue to be used as a scapegoat for these type of “outbreak” disease , with studies by scientists always pointing the figure away from their own, perhaps to justify their continued unnatural activities behind closed doors.

Was this a deliberate release, a test by the Chinese Governement that went wrong?  Who cares; it is just symptomatic of what every country around the world has been doing by using its Dr Death scientists to create bioweapons of mass destruction and also chemical weapons for “research” purposes – like white phosphorus that they try to present by somantic wordplay as “smokescreens”.

China lied, and people died

Regardless of the true origin of this virus, other than this country, the best thing that everyone in this country could do, perhaps the only power that we have, is to permanently boycott all things ever made in China, and that includes all of their dubious London ebay warehouse phoney cheap crap. Let’s face it, most of the stuff “made in China” is mass plastic produced, Western patent plagiarised pup, made by child labour – the ones who are not flushed down the bog at birth with the undigested paddy rice.

2. DUBIOUS STATISTICS AND PREVIOUS PANDEMICS

The thing which I believe least about this “virus”, other than its claimed origin is the manner in which it has been exaggerated as a major killer. The figures do not stack up to support this in comparison with The Spanish Flu, which killed a reported 50 million plus people after the 1st World War- in fact the evidence suggests that this started in field hospitals as a result of a unjustifiable conflict that had no reason to ever be fought.

A couple of press reports from this time reveal that The Spanish Flu lasted over two years, (compare this with China’s miraculous 4/5 month lockdown with Covid-19 and no new cases), and killed many from the same towns in Britain. The populations back then were of course much lower than today, and had already been depleted due to the folly of war. Read these, and then compare the tallies with the contemporary diet of death we are being fed daily by newspapers today.

Note the number of deaths in Glasgow in just one week in October 1918 for Spanish flu, compared to the whole of Scotland in one month for Covid 19

Tuesday 22 October 1918 Newspaper: Daily Mirror

Monday 02 December 1918 Newspaper: Daily Mirror – These figures are way in excess of Covid -19

Thursday 19 December 1918 Newspaper: Daily Mirror- These figures with a much lower population in 1918 means that the flu was killing more people then than it is today with Covid-19

FACT- The Covid-19 figures do not stack up to the death toll of the Spanish Flu, nor anything even like it, yet we are meant to view the Covid-19 figures we are getting as some kind of armageddon.

The other problem is that people are self isolating without even being confirmed to have any actual virus, because they are not being tested for “Covid-19” specifically, and then every member of their family isolated on the back of this mass false diagnosis. It is a waggers festival, unsupported by anything scientific but more like quack doctory.

3 “UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITIONS”  AND SMOKING

Much has been deliberately omitted from the reporting of the actual “underlying health conditions” that have been reported in the vast majority of those who it is claimed died “AFTER testing positive for coronavirus” in the press.

Many of these illnesses are caused directly by legalised drugs of alcohol and tobacco

It is interesting to note that the NHS at risk profile does not explicitly mention smoking, yet many of the conditions mentioned are directly attributable to this activity. When one looks at the death toll attributable in the UK every year from this legalised carcinogen, the covid deception in terms of death figures can be seen to be meaningless.

The latest figures available as NHS data supplied by The Office of National statistics shows that 77,800 people died as a result of smoking in 2017.

If you divide this by 12 for an average month, the figure works out at 6,483 deaths per month. We are not even at this figure with Covid 19, in its first month,  so why are they so concerned about this invisible killer when they are unable to stop so many dying from a man made illness of which they are fully aware?

The full report can be read at this link

  • 37% of all deaths for respiratory diseases, were estimated to be attributable to smoking.
  • 54% of deaths for cancers (that can be caused by smoking), were estimated to be attributable to smoking.
  • £23.0 million was the Net Ingredient Cost (NIC) of all prescription items used to help people quit smoking in 2018/19.

I would like to know how many of those who have died had been in their lifetime, or were smokers? One has to  speculate as to how many of those who it is now claimed are dying from Covid- 19 were already on borrowed time as a result of respiratory “underlying health conditions” , and why their deaths are being deliberately and falsely attributed to this instead? Indeed many of the those who have died are proclaimed to have “died AFTER contracting corona virus”- which is not the same thing as stating that this was the single cause of death-but the way in which the message is relayed appears to suggest that this was the case.

With nearly half a million hospital admissions caused by this manmade chemical drug, according to the NHS’s own figures, this also puts covid- 19 into some perspective in terms of just how many people suffer from breathing and health issues caused by smoking in the UK.

If you really want to “save the NHS” , then stop smoking, the warning labels are on every packet, and it is a disgusting habit that kills other people as well as the smoker.

What is even more ironic is that those now religiously staying at home self isolating (hypocrites), with people who unfortunately smoke are more likely to be dying from passive smoking than by going outside to breathe fresh air that they are trying to avoid. #dickheads

Smoking of course, like that other legal drug alcohol, which also kills thousands every year, will never be banned because it is so profitable for Government finance.

4 “UNDERLYING HEALTH CONDITIONS” AND INDUSTRIAL DISEASE.

This is by far the biggest thing that troubles me about this “virus”, and how it may be used to write off real cause of death attributable to past exposure to toxic substances of industrial origin like asbestos.

The HSE current report into asbestos deaths can be read below.

asbestos-related-disease

Undoubtedly the politicians, producers and defenders of asbestos in the 50’s-70’s when it was still being actively used are all murderers. Their legacy is one of total shame in that the so called “experts” and “scientists” were too slow to consider the real dangers and put off a total ban for financial reasons only. They quelled concerns until such time as they could no longer defend the obvious, just as the profiteering match makers had done with their lucifer white phosphorus matches in the 19th Century. Industrial disease is one of the biggest betrayals and failures of Government ever seen.

The grim picture from the HSE report

A Guardian article from July of last year  also reported on how cases involving these past exposures are thought to be now reaching their peak.

“In 2017 there were 2,523 deaths from mesothelioma, a cancer of the lining of the organs caused almost exclusively by the inhalation of asbestos fibres. This is a similar number to the previous five years.

There were 2,709 “deaths by industrial disease” recorded by coroners in England and Wales in 2018, a 44% rise on the 1,878 recorded in 1995, the earliest available figure. Nine percent of all deaths recorded by coroners in 2018 were caused by industrial disease.”

A further thing to consider is the compensation scheme available to those who die from these illnesses, paid for by The Government.

“It added that it took its responsibility to compensate people with mesothelioma very seriously, automatically awarding the maximum rate of industrial injuries disablement benefit and awarding lump sum compensation of up to £92,000, depending on a person’s age.”

I just wonder if “Covid-19” now appears on death certificates , it will invalidate the claims made about the real cause of death attributable to industrial disease, and will also prevent people from claiming their deserved, but still not enough compensation?

This killer really was an invisible killer , as a woman who simply “stayed at home” and washed her husbands work clothes found out to her cost.

“Just because it is banned doesn’t mean it’s gone,” says Nye. “It hasn’t. It’s everywhere. It’s in buildings that are forever being pulled down and refurbished, which can make it airborne … We need to educate the young because they think it’s a problem of the past.”

WHY ARE THE PRESS AND GOVERNMENT NOT WRITING ABOUT THIS EVERY DAY? DOES IT SUIT AN AGENDA TO BLAME DEATH ON A “NATURAL” SOURCE?

5 WHO ARE “THE EXPERTS” ?

We are bombarded with the views and speculation of academics, whose collective disagreement on virtually everything about this topic probably tells the best story of how these “experts” level of expertise amounts to being “as good a prophet as Nostradamus”- i.e  shit prophets.

They cannot agree or convey accurate symptoms, agree on preventative measures , or tell us where this virus came from or where it is going to lead. They wanted us to mingle and acquire “herd immunity”, and then they didn’t. They dither on what protective PPE should be used  and invent a social distance of 2 metres, as though this superstitious paranoia and body swerving will somehow matter. They also cannot appear to agree if the virus is passed via airborne means or via formites, or how long it remains active on surfaces, if at all.

The official death figures appear to vary from publication to publication, and in some cases have not even added up to the alleged figure.

In this vacuum of accurate information, we have the tendency to panic and develop different ideas, which leads to conflict and disagreement- which is exactly what those pushing this agenda want. One remembers the misleading  claims about the last pandemic that never was with swine flu.

One of the worst parts of this is the track record of “Professor ” Ferguson of Imperial College London who is the man responsible for advising Johnson and co. He was also the man who saw millions of animals needlessly slaughtered in the foot and mouth outbreak of 2001.

He advocated lockdown, and when the death toll does not appear to reach the ridiculous exaggerated figure of over 500,000 deaths that he originally predicted would occur, congratulates himself in that it was HIS lockdown idea which prevented the killer virus that never was from wreaking the false havoc that he predicted. We should always question “experts” and their use by Government.

6. PRE PROGRAMMED GROOMING

The world of television and film has come to define our perceptions of the world.

Several events happened around the turn of the new century in this regard, and they are not a coincidence. The world of reality television introduced us to “big brother”, where we could become  voiyers and study random strangers in an oppressive controlled environment.

We had a diet of disaster films set in dystopian worlds such as 28 days later, and I am Legend.

If you put these fantasy stories into the ether, and then combine them with “experts”, politicians and celebrities telling you basically the same thing, it makes the pill easier to swallow.

They even had the gaule to recently show the film  Contagion on ITV2 , whose plot is so similar to the current covid “outbreak” as to wonder if the script writers of this film were drafted in to write much of the bullshit that has been happening in real life ever since.

We have seen how those confined in artificial conditions in a reality show behave, and the psychology at play. This also makes it easier to program people as to how they should behave when confronted with such a “reality” as at present themselves.

7 POLITICAL ACTORS AND SLOGAN POLITICS

I take no side in politics, except that are all universally a bunch of dishonest wankers.

It is notable that in December with the general election, about the only glove that Labour landed on Boris Johnson was about the NHS and potential privatisation. What we now have is a political slogan , which I will not repeat of “S$$e the NHS”. We see this everywhere, on billboards, adverts, news bulletins, social media and from the mouths of politicians themselves. It certainly has spread like a virus to every facet of life. The catch line is garbage, as I have already pointed out, but it does stick like “Let’s get Brexit Done.”

Welcome to The Emperor’s New Clothes Virus. I’m not going to “Act like I’ve got it”, because I doubt it’s existence, in the face of abysmal scientific evidential proof that it can be spread or save lives by staying at home.

So when we are all joined in this new found but phoney “saving”, we are distracted away from the failures of the NHS, and those of the politicians who appear unquestionable about how the NHS continues to fail many people, partially it could be argued as a result of their direct incompetence and mismanagement. We forget about people like Harold Shipman and Beverley Allitt, and suspicious early deaths of many people by incompetent NHS trusts.

We are distracted from past headlines about abysmal waiting times in A&E, cancelled operations, and vulnerable people left on trollies in corridors or on cold floors.

My Nan died a few years ago in a filthy hospital where she developed C- difficile, and I won’t forget that, but the NHS bastards conveniently left that off the death certificate with their unwashed shitty stained hands. How many times have we had the norovirus outbreaks in hospitals which have had to close? They are filthy places, and biohazardous porous, but it probably doesn’t fit the agenda to say that does it, BUT I WILL BECAUSE IT’S TRUE.

Into these germ academies of past evidential  proven transmission, are we really expected to suspend belief that those dying from alleged “covid-19” who were ill BEFORE this outbreak, did not acquire it AFTER their admission, not as a result of people outside hospitals not staying at home, but through the very people inside hospitals supposedly caring for them?

A Guardian article gave an accurate assessment of the NHS in The Blair years in 2001, and little appears to have changed in the last 19. It certainly isn’t the unicorns and rainbows socialist wet dream presentation now doing the rounds, so why pretend it is?

Johnson’s lies when he stood up and stated that “many people would die before their time” kickstarted the panic buying and mass fear and was as irresponsible a statement as any politician could have delivered, but this is I believe what was exactly intended.

7. INFORMATION/DISINFORMATION- GOVERNMENT PROPAGANDA

Spreading a moral panic

The incessant Government slogan message has penetrated all media, but this Department of Health caption above , amongst a few others leaves me asking more questions. So if this is not a stock photo, or photoshopped, they got three young men to pose in close proximity, who made non essential journeys to a particular place without social distancing, and “risked lives” according to their own message by doing so. This is not a real situation, so why is this message being put out, and using the tool of personal preservation risk and also that by proxy to an elderly relative?

This appears to be aimed at the young, whom the Government believe will be more likely to break their forced lockdown. I’m not sure if there is any evidence to support this, but it is important to point out that this picture is a staged event by actors.

8. MASS MEDIA EXAGGERATION AND FEAR MONGERING

The medias false reporting of deaths and of this virus shows what an utter disgrace their profession is- puppet whores of the political class- it is a joke that they are considered “key workers”, but how well they play their part. Doom and gloom has always been their strongest seller of misinformation, and every death has been reported, even when the accuracy of the claim has then been dismissed. Take for example the lie concerning a 21 year old girl who was “healthy”- the purpose of this attempting to make people believe that anyone could be affected and die from this virus. But it was later revealed that she had had a heart attack, and this had nothing to do with Covid- 19 at all.

Similarly , they have reported on a few “famous” people who have died from alleged Covid 19- except they didn’t. The comedian Eddie Large had longstanding health issues and was already in hospital when he allegedly caught covid- 19 and subsequently died. This did not stop ITN news lying and stating that he had “died from corona virus”- a complete dishonest and false statement by their journalist and editorial team. Large , at 78 would have died anyway from his pre existing condition, but why let the truth get in the way of a good story?

Statistics have been used to give the impression that the daily death toll has been increasing, yet some of the data appears to be being drip fed as it is later compiled from days or even weeks earlier, and this presents a false impression of increasing risk.

They also of course rely on the stories being shared and commented upon to generate advertising revenue clickbait for themselves.

9.USE OF CELEBRITY.

Allied to the liars in the media, we have their sidekicks who present them with more “stories” of celebrities who allegedly become ill and are “self isolating”, without even having been confirmed to have any illness. Many of them are reality TV nobodies , but these “influencers” and their message are enough to encourage the cult of celebrity to take hold in the many sheep who hang off these talentless shit’s every word.

So we see these pouting fish heads standing in front of their mirrors holding their phones wearing the obligatory face masks and saying how tough it is to be indoors, whilst also sharing the usual hashtags just so they don’t appear out of touch.

We also have professional footballers- those talentless thugs who are paid millions to spit and nasal projectile fire on the ground every week. Perhaps this new found clamour for hygiene may stop this disgusting behaviour, though probably not as they also spread the hashtag nonsense.

10 MORAL PANIC

A moral panic is a feeling of fear spread among many people that some evil threatens the well-being of society. It is “the process of arousing social concern over an issue – usually the work of moral entrepreneurs and the mass media”.

Covid-19 and the reaction to it are probably the biggest world wide moral panic ever seen. The death toll is not that high, compared with other historic pandemic events, as already seen, yet the associations of spread that have gone with it has produced unfounded reactions in people- generated by false media hysteria. The recovery rates in people are being barely reported, but the constant message of death is enough to generate the myth that it is a terminal illness once caught.

The idea that staying at home can save lives is an unscientific nonsense, as most ill people would already have chosen to isolate themselves if they had any sense. With lack of clarification about how the alleged virus actually spreads, but with vague commands coming out of Government, people have taken to making up their own rules, body swerving in the street, washing their hands and even wearing masks. There is no evidence that any of this will save anyone’s life, least of all their own, but the idea seems to be right because everyone else is doing it as well.

FREEDOM IS DANGEROUS

Another recent moral panic was the “Momo challenge”- spread by the internet and without any credibility. This was also largely spread by social media.

11. SOCIAL MEDIA CONFORMITY AND SHAMING

A contrived facebook message

The platforms of  facebook and twitter to share and comment on topics like this “virus” are being manipulated by the censors- particularly if it goes against the consensus msn message.  If you’ll excuse the pun, the level of commentary , like the lack of clear Government advice creates “Chinese” whispers about every aspect of life.

Claim and counter claim about how you can allegedly catch “this killer virus” leads to sharing of the political hashtags already mentioned, and an accepted conformity that no other opinion is valid.

At the start of the nonsense about panic buying- caused largely by social media itself, people then started to take pictures of others standing in queues, as though everyone in the picture was somehow morally bankrupt for even being there.

More lately , the same anal retentives have started taking pictures of people being outside, many of whom are merely following the Government advice about social distancing, but are still singled out by those obsessed with the nonsense that staying indoors will somehow make them immune to a virus, and everyone outside is somehow “selfish”. They further claim that people who go outside will extend the period of lockdown as a result- thus giving this appalling house arrest facist state that we have now entered carte blanche to create an indefinite and increasingly draconian mandate to do so. Much of this panic is probably similar to the type of paranoia prevalent in 1940 , when people were concerned about Germans appearing out of the sky, and any strange face in a village should be challenged.

Some local  facebook groups, perhaps in bravado, even talk about introducing identity cards, maybe they will even go so far as suggesting identity chips under the skin, or numbered tattoos on our forearms- to help the Government and police of course.

A gammon triggered- National socialist media?

We truly are entering some very troubling times when such far right/communist state views can be shared on these platforms. The only ones making money out of all this are the billionaires who are getting advertising out of it, and is it a conspiracy to point out how these people have through their alleged philanthropy been involved in vaccine programs previously?

12. HERO/VILLAIN SIMPLICITY AND “WAR”

It serves every politician at home to create an “enemy” abroad. Many moustached characters have come and gone, with one puppet regime replaced with a friendly puppet regime; the threat never being there, except when it is spun it allows the politician easier licence to spread their controlling hand. “Weapons of mass destruction”- Remember this Government lie.

Politicians have used the armed forces to fight pointless wars in The Middle East under false pretences for the last 30 years. The term “HERO” has been used as the recruiting sergeant to replace those who have needlessly died. The term  has spread using exactly the same techniques of social media hashtags/celebrity endorsements and misplaced patriotism. Poppy fascism occurs every October/November, as though anyone who doesn’t choose to wear one is somehow to be shamed.

I feel sorry for those who served, and some developed illnesses which were no doubt as a result of man made chemicals that they were injected with; (and this Government cover up continues), but they should recognise how they have been used, and not let others blindly replace them.

So we now have the extension of this “cult of heroism” using the NHS in the current climate. “Key workers” are to be championed, whilst many other people’s businesses have been totally ruined by the direction taken with lockdown.

Into the current theatre we have politicians invoking war time rhetoric and nostalgia. We are in a time where “we are at war with Corona”, the public need to “show the Dunkirk spirit” in this “National emergency” struggle, and perhaps the most dramatically ironic concerning this fake virus  “fighting an invisible enemy”.

All of these slogans are psychological tricks in the same manner as with the military heroes. Create an enemy, control your own people. Know the way people think, change their behaviour.

13.  CLASSIC CONFORMITY AND OBEDIENCE EXPERIMENTS

All of this feeds into the classic obedience experiments by the likes of Milgrim in that people are being used as accomplices in the Government agenda, except that it a reverse of this in putting self sacrifice of not going out in order to “save lives”.

We are not being asked to give electric shocks, but instead confine ourselves in sacrifice for an invisible victim.

Factors of persuasive message rely on believing the source of the information- so they wheel out a professor “expert” flanked by a politician. Throw into the mix a message from the frontline of health workers anchored by some emotive words and this helps to sell the message even more.

The weekly Thursday happy clappy events are another tool of conformity. Aronson defined conformity as ” a change in a person’s behaviour or opinions as a result of real or imagined pressure from a person or group of people”

This form of “normative influence” allows people to conform to group pressure to gain social approval.

14 THE FOLLY OF BROWNFIELD BUILDING AND OVER POPULATION IN TOWNS.

So how has your shopping experience been just lately then? If you cannot get a delivery slot, which no one can, you will have stood in the queues like a line of sheep waiting to be guided into the pen.

Let’s look at the area of Friar park in Wednesbury as an example. The only sizeable store within a mile is the Lidl. If you wanted to go further you would have to travel to West Bromwich, serving a much larger area, or Wednesbury- serving the outer rim of Tipton and Walsall.

Tory Tonka and Sandwell council want to build 750 new homes on open land in a bent deal with serial polluters Severn Trent Water- land to be “cleaned up” using money from the tax payer- and not by the polluters- Severn Trent. This will deliver at least 1500 extra people to this already crowded area, as well as multiple cars.

Good luck in joining the queue behind these extra people in getting your essential shopping down the Lidl, and finding even less in there than you have already. Also good luck in getting a doctors appointment, or finding a school place for your child.

When doing your daily exercise, also good luck in finding anywhere to actually do this without bumping into people with the track record of Sandwell council in selling off open space for housing.

What has also been demonstrated by this virus is the selfish self preservation of the green belt rural scum, who want to live and do their shopping by not joining any such queues.

They bleated that people coming into the countryside were not welcome as they could be spreading the disease. This is of course what the Quaker eugenicist freaks who invented the Garden cities were all about in keeping out the “scum” from the inner sanctum of their own self preservation. Green belt savers are selfish affluent scum, who will plead “rural poverty” but also expect that they will not have to sacrifice any land for accommodating any more people.

Illness and disease spreads in overcrowded conditions- see the Great Plague. So what is the purpose if those who advocate over population in towns already filled with capacity, whilst also resisting building in areas where large populations do not exist? They are eugenicists at heart, and all those who advocate garden cities are class extremists who want to maintain these dividing lines and social distancing for themselves.

The same people who are now dispensing advice about the two metre social distancing are the very same who think it is quite acceptable to build entire estates of homes for people on contaminated land, separated from cancerous manmade chemicals by 50cm of topsoil.

Perhaps the situation that people have found themselves  in joining long queues, will result in voting out those politicians who want them to wait in even longer queues. Use your vote wisely to send these people a message.

15  WHO BENEFITS?

There is no question that the biggest winners from this manufactured crisis are the pharmaceuticals and allied chemical industry. They made a killing out of the false swine flu virus, which was a fraud, and will do so again with this elixir of bull. Germany have already proclaimed that Bayer are testing a vaccine, which distracts attention from the Monsanto issue of the carcinogenic glyphosate round up.

WHO is already a discredited organisation set up by the globalist Rothschilds, and there is no doubt in my mind that they are being pocket lined by big pharma to produce much of the crap that they have so far come out with.

First they will offer a test which will reveal that we all have this “corona virus” antibodies.

A vaccine will no doubt be developed that we will all be forced to take, on acceptance of being allowed to enter certain areas, go to work, or even step outside our homes. But what is this vaccine, and what will be its ingredients and potential side effects, and why should we just accept this as a cure for a “virus” that has actually killed a tiny number of people compared to the Earth’s entire population?

A mental health nosedive caused by the increased anxiety of this situation will no doubt also benefit these pedlars of drugs for all occasions with their anti depressant pushing. Who knows if the vaccine will even contain some of these, or another addictive substance that they can provide?

We must all, by all violent means necessary, refuse mandatory vaccination without consent when we show no signs of any illness.  If we cannot choose what enters our own bodies, by this pharmaceutical rape, then we no longer have any freedom to exist.

The appalling use of animals in experiments will,it be argued, continue to be “necessary” in order to test new strains of the mutating virus. The manufacture of pesticides and other chemicals in the environment has over many years destroyed species of animals and birds, and continues to do so.

16. THE PEDESTRIAN   by Ray Bradbury and THE CAPTIVE STATE

I read this short story at school, and its message of Leonard Mead who enjoys walking in a time when everyone no longer goes out of their homes because they are glued to their televisions in some dystopian world is increasingly relevant as we near the year in which it was set- 2053. They are literally living in a world of the dead, and the imagery presented compliments this narrative.

The phrase concerning the houses and televisions- “The tombs, ill-lit by television light, where the people sat like the dead, the grey or multi-coloured lights touching their faces, but never really touching them” is very apt for our times.

Mead is approached by a robotic police vehicle , which appears to not contain a living person, and interrogates him as to why he is out, and not at home like everyone else. He is then carted off to “the Psychiatric Centre for Research on Regressive Tendencies.”

I wonder how far away we are from this?

The best thing that anyone reading this can do is to turn off your television set and go outside. Switch off the news and wake up from this induced coma we have been put in by the political class and their media cronies.

There is a tendency to read conspiracy theories into much of what is happening, but I don’t subscribe myself to the claims about 5G. What is worthy of looking at however are trends, patterns that have been gradually creeping up on us and without safeguards to stop them. Consumerism has been used as a means to their justification, but it is clear that they hide a more sinister motive.

Increasing state medalling appears  very near. The use of biometric surveillance, a cashless society where our every purchase and therefore move are recorded is already here. Already some companies are refusing to take cash in the current manufactured “crisis”, on the false premise that it is somehow contaminated by the fake virus. This is legal tender being refused!

Social media is a hive of personal data that can be extrapolated- handed over by apparent consent to flatter personal individuals vanity. We are sold cyber security against potential hackers, but what evidence is there that the real criminals after our data are state hackers?

Academia “experts” and private companies will continue to meddle in our daily existence.

But what does history tell us about past Government deceptions, and many that have still to be unravelled?  Remember the soldiers who were just doing their jobs when they walked into a shed of poison gas after being told they were “testing a cure for the common cold” on behalf of The British Government, or the mothers who were given a new wonder drug called thalidomide as “a cure for morning sickness” ?

We should be very sceptical as to what has gone before when politicians conspire with academia and the pharmaceuticals industry to create solutions to problems that they themselves appear to have created. Conspiracy theories are not always to be dismissed when you look at the track record of history that has gone before. Deceptions are the work of the captive state, and it’s time we practised some distance from their claims.

The Walsall Smell- new glamping theme park opening soon*

*Well, only the last part of the title in this post is a little April 1st smelly.

So many of our urban areas in The Industrial West Midlands have at one time or another been hit with quite appalling air quality issues , yet it seems that these are almost played down by the authorities who attempt to claim that there are no health risks associated with them. I have previously unearthed a great deal of information about The Oldbury smell- caused by the stench mongers of Oldbury- Albright and Wilson, and even the offspring of this- The Tipton smell. But now our Northern cousins are also not immune from an olfactory menace sweeping across the firmament like an egg fart splurge gun.

THE WALSALL SMELL

Over the course of recent months there appears to be a strange De Ja Vu or (poo) occurring in the area of Walsall Wood and Shelfield. Leigh Land Reclamation Limited- an offshoot of the vile polluting Leigh Interests had gazumped the WMBC many years ago in  buying new tips in the Walsall area. They ran them for profit and held the local authority over a barrel in terms of waste disposal.

What is clear is that a nasty smell has arisen from the depths of the “new” Highfields Tip , run originally by Cory environmental, but now the altered name of “Enovert”.

There appears to be a heated anger from local residents about this statutory nuisance, but the official response by the council appears to be very poor indeed. In fact if you read some of the articles concerning Leigh back in the day when they were causing major issues, they do appear to be very similar guarded statements from the leadership of the local authority.

The residents , as with those from CAATW were concerned about the hidden health impacts that such a site was having upon those who lived in the area. They are struggling to find good information to this end, but find themselves in a political field where those in power jockey for the moral high ground, whilst also apparently not wanting to openly criticise a disgusting polluting business.

I’ve been past this site many times, and it bloody stinks, there are no two ways about that.

Councillor Bird, the current leader of the council, (I lose count), has been around for many years, and would remember the Leigh fiasco well, and it should be stated that his council officers appeared impotent to take action on at that time. But merely mouthed statements such as the ones attributed to him in a recent Express and Star article, where he claims that unnamed pollution control officers have taken samples and declared that there is  “no significant risk” from this tip site is woeful.

But gone are the days where official line is believed, and we now live in the internet age and that of FOI, so I put in a request to WMBC to illicit these test results so that we can see exactly what scrutiny these officers have made of this appalling olfactory trespasser. WMBC responded:

“Real time air quality monitoring was carried out using a Biogas GA5000  portable gas analyser manufactured by Geotechnical Instruments Ltd.  The  analyser calibrated in accordance with manufacturers’ instructions measures oxygen, carbon dioxide, methane and hydrogen sulphide.  The purpose of the monitoring exercise carried out this year was to establish whether methane and/or hydrogen sulphide could be detected downwind of
Highfields Landfill site when malodour was detected.  Monitoring was carried out January 30th on Walsall Road, and January 31st , February 3rd  and 5th February on Boatmans Lane. No recordings were made, only officer notes that neither methane or hydrogen sulphide was detected.

No soil or water sampling was carried out, only real time air quality monitoring.

No map was made at the time of the monitoring exercise.”

This really isn’t very much in the way of detail is it to make such a claim of “no significant risk” is it? There may not be a continuous waft of the substances tested for in these locations, and why should the smell and gases involved obey roadside verges? What about tests directly at source on the site itself? Where is the data for this?

One should be vary wary of just accepting information given down by Walsall council without seriously scrutinising the information. Firstly their Hazardous Waste Unit were an incompetent joke from the top down, and when it was disbanded in 1996 when The Environment Agency was created, many of them unfortunately just got jobs within the new quango, or to environmental health teams within other local authorities.

A recent issue involving WMBC and “contaminated land” is a case in point. An area of the former Willenhall gas works , (a former “brownfield site”) that had seen houses built upon it , the Stonegate housing estate, had been declared as “contaminated land” by the local authority. This is a prime example of the stupidity of building on brownfield land that Mayor Street (Tory Tonka) and his friend Mr Bird (who occupies a position on the undemocratic West Midlands Combined authority dealing in housing) are so keen on doing these days.

After attempting to pursue those who built the houses through legal action to remediate the site, this public enquiry decision by the planning inspectorate  went against the council, who would then have been forced to pay for remediation themselves.

I put in an FOI request a while ago to the council about this to obtain the ruling and statements made, but I was just referred to a link on the council website.

The main concern of the council was about soil derived dusts from the carcinogenic benzo (a) pyrene, and was expressed as thus in the case for the remediation notice served on the former housing developer company in that there was “possibility of significant harm arising” to receptors.

WMBC then conducted a new set of tests with a new environmental consultancy, LQM, incredibly then claiming that the land was NOT contaminated after all! Well how bloody amazing is that when they were faced with having to pay millions out themselves instead of someone else?

The inspector’s ruling on Walsall and their original consultants AECOM was rather scathing as to how they served the notice, which was quashed.

The former 1st results and the planning inspectorate ruling have now all disappeared off the council website, to be replaced with only the new consultancy results. It also appears that much of the information that had previously been accessible on contaminated land – especially the former historic waste site licences on the public register have now also gone (which I wrote about concerning doomwatch sites).

This is what you now get. So why would this have happened I wonder? It seems to me that certain people in this council are rather frit (or perhaps the term “bricking it” would be more apt), about old information coming to light to scupper their plans, and potentially expose the shit monitoring of old sites by their former useless hazardous waste unit, which may leave them as an authority liable for legal action when subsequent knowledge of the failures come to light?

But here are the report and the Secretary of States decision letter  below.  😆

Appeal Report

Secretary of States Decision Letter Final

Unfortunately when you read the new report in conjunction with the so called “guidance” issued by the Government departments, we are talking semantic wordplay as to what constitutes real risk and “significant possibility of significant harm”.

1339-2 Non Technical Summary of Inspection of Stonegate and Trent Park estates

The work undertaken by LQM concluded that there are greater than background concentrations of contaminants at the Site associated with historical industrial activities including waste disposal from the gasworks.  However, LQM’s site investigation and subsequent assessment of the combined results has found the concentrations of contaminants in the soils at the Site do not represent an unacceptable risk to human health when considered in light of the Statutory Guidance. This means the land should not be considered ‘Contaminated Land’ under Part 2A of the Environmental Protection Act 1990. “

I would say that this statutory guidance is written by civil servants to serve themselves, who like their paymasters want to promote the reckless brownfield building agenda, but who will ever trace these scumbags 50 years down the line when human health risks manifest themselves? Some of them will no doubt leave their jobs to set up their own environmental consultancies, where an on tap business of writing off land plastered with toxic crap and building houses on top of this can be secured through their previous shite “guidance”.

In terms of the Walsall smell, there appears to be little reassurance in that those in power are unable to answer about where and how this smell has suddenly arisen to such appalling public alarm.

There’s an interesting background document below when Walsall council were debating about the use of the former Highfields quarry back in 2006.

highfields south landfill

From this a rather telling statement.

Proposed development  and site details

Highfields South Quarry is an active clay quarry covering 12 hectares of land located south of the A461 Lichfield Road, approximately 400 metres north of Shelfield. The site is outlined on the attached plan. The surrounding uses are mixed with residential property to the west and open land to the north. Immediately to the north east is the Barons Court Hotel. To the south is the former landfill site owned by Veolia Environmental Services (formerly Onyx UK Ltd).  In the wider area there are residential properties close by on Queen Street, Walsall Wood. The existing operational Vigo Utopia Landfill site lies to the east beyond Boatmans Lane.”

and most notably

Odour concerns arising from some of the gas management and dispersion modelling issues, which influence assessment of the potential for odour to impact upon local amenity, may be capable of resolution with the applicants. However matters relating to day to day working practice remain an area of some concern.  “Management Procedure” utilised to direct on site activity associated with the handling of wastes normally fall to be regulated by the Environment Agency. The applicant has indicated that they are willing to accept conditions requiring them to agree odour and fly control procedures with the Planning Authority and to meet Walsall Council representatives on a regular basis to review the effectiveness of such procedures. This course of action would enable the authority to retain some measure of control over situations likely to create “nuisance” to local residents.

There have been some instances when odour from “fresh waste” has been detectable outside the site boundary at Vigo – Utopia although domestic waste (directly from collection rounds) is not included in the list of waste types allowed for direct delivery to the site. It is reasonable to take the view that a similar situation may arise at Highfields South although sensitive land uses are not in such close proximity to the site boundary.

The applicant has provided a detailed description of the engineering design of the land form which adds weight to the claims by the applicant that improved levels of control of odour from landfill gas can be achieved when compared to the situation at Vigo – Utopia.    Odours will remain to be controlled by speedy laying of adequate cover onto the waste throughout the working day. In view of this there will inevitably be occasions when odour will be detectable outside the site boundary.

In general, subject to Enviros advising that the additional information provided by MJCA has addressed their concerns, the proposals and controls put forward by the applicant coupled with the offer to accept conditions allowing the effectiveness of these to be reviewed and modified as appropriate provide reasonable assurance that activities can be managed so as to minimise impact upon the local amenity and environment.”

So WTF went wrong?  😳

Another interesting document, again from Walsall council themselves, is an air quality assessment made in the borough around the same period, when the site was still being used as a quarry. Pages 8-15 refer.

2.3.3 This monitoring program has been conducted at a position (Highfields farm) relevant to public exposure where consideration has been given to the siting of the sampling location in relation to Highfields South mineral extraction site. This site represents a location where exposure to dust emissions are likely to be relatively high (downwind from the source based upon the assumption that the prevailing winds having a southerly component). Figure 1 identifies the location of the monitoring station in relation to the mineral extraction site.”

highfieldslandfillwmbcmonitoring

The question of particulate matter PM10’S is assessed at this time, but what assessments have been made SINCE the site became a tip, and in light of the movements of material on the site- all generating significant amounts of particulate matter and soil derived dusts?

If I were a local resident living near to this site, I would be asking serious questions about the real health impacts associated with PM10’s in this area, as well as the odours, as it appears that the latest council monitoring does not appear to address this issue at all.

And if you think that Public Health England (formerly The Health Protection Agency) (sic) are in any way competent at giving advice on whether “well managed” landfill sites pose no risk to health, then consider how they were paid by Rhodia to produce a report of such breath taking crap, that they failed to monitor many chemicals of concern at Rattlechain lagoon in their joke “human health risk assessment”- which also left out significant historical facts that were not what their client wanted the public to know about.

But just to throw into the mix, I think it relevant to point out the digging that has been going on next to the two former abysmally ran and multiple licence breaching Leigh Interests sites in this area in recent times. Firstly the cavernous border with this tip, including the diverted Vigo brook, and the filled in fraudulent “sealosafe” Empire/Butterley holes is noted.

A large  created void between the Empire and Butterley holes and the Enovert tip- with a load of spare tyres

The other development is that of the “well of souls”  adjacent to the former Mitco lagoon , off Coppice Lane, and is it just a coincidence that they have been carrying out major pumping operations at both sites at the same time? What exactly is going on here?

If you look at a map of this area, these two points run in a roughly straight line, so just join the dots.

The former Mitco lagoon site overlay, red dot= position of borehole, and circle indicates where picture was taken below from the former tram line on Coppice Lane.

pumping what out?

I say it’s “relevant” because another Walsall council document,  😆 appears to make a similar comment. Their submission for site allocation mineral deposits in the area gives some interesting background info on many of these vile brickwork hole sites, subsequently infilled by scumbag operators. This document was written in only January of last year 2019.

SAD_Minerals_Appendix_2_Permitted_Mineral_Sites_Jan19

Pages 43-50 refer to the Highfields South site, and contains some useful planning history info. But just  look what they tell us here!

“There are potential risks from migration of contaminants from the adjacent former Empire/ Butterley landfill site were evaluated before the restoration programme was approved and the measures proposed to manage the risks are considered satisfactory, subject to ongoing monitoring.”

But do we get any information about monitoring of this particular issue from the EA or Walsall council themselves in terms of contaminants and health risks associated with the hazardous wastes that were infilled into here using the fraudulent “sealosafe” process overseen by Walsall council’s USELESS hazardous waste unit? Er… no we do not. They instead focus solely on the Enovert site itself.

A recent FOI request to Walsall council reveals the following about actual monitoring of the Leigh sites, and the fact that their officers have undertaken no monitoring of these contaminated sites since the creation of the agency in 1996.

“Walsall Council holds no records of Deep Mine Waste Disposal monitoring
post 1995. (see below) This enquiry is best referred to the Environment
Agency who are the regulatory authority for waste disposal matters

Liquid wastes, predominantly hydrocarbons were disposed of via a borehole
situated at the Leigh Environmental treatment works at Stubbers Green.
This borehole placed wastes into the disused coal workings in the local
area. The level of liquid in this borehole was monitored and recorded by
the site operators and results were reviewed by the West Midlands
Hazardous Waste, later absorbed into the Environment Agency in 1995.

This unit undertook sampling of the groundwater underlying the area at
boreholes known as ‘Copy Hall’  (located off Hall Lane), Dumblederry Lane,
The Weinerberger Brick Works (Stubbers Green Road) and the Mitco Site (off
Coppice Lane).

The Environment Agency may hold records of this work. Walsall MBC may have
retained some records however the location of these is unclear and it is
possible they are archived off site. The current public health crisis
prevents access to some locations and paper records in our building.

We are however able to say with some confidence that no monitoring has
been undertaken by Walsall Council following the setting up of the
Environment Agency and transfer of regulatory powers in relation to waste
disposal and water quality to them.”

And here’s another gem from the Walsall mineral sites document , which probably suggests why WMBC are so keen to ensure the profitability of this site.

Walsall Wood – the shit tip of the Midlands- just like all those years ago when Leigh Interests used the same excuse.

“This site is currently Walsall’s only ‘open gate’ landfill site, which is accessible to users seeking to dispose of inert and non-hazardous waste from other parts of the West Midlands, such as adjoining parts of the Black Country, Birmingham and Staffordshire. Information from the Environment Agency Waste Data Interrogator shows that the site is accepting waste from other parts of the West Midlands, although a high proportion of the waste received is not coded to a specific authority area.”

Enovert, like Leigh before them, appear to want to ingratiate themselves to people in the area, to mitigate their dire statutory nuisance with stunts such as this.

new air conditioning- LOL- they will bloody need it!

Their permit at the site, which can be read HERE, contains some detail on odour emissions.

What are these “levels” and who set them, and how were they set?

The EA have also introduced a handy “fartometer” so that people making complaints can give them a score.

From what I have seen and has been announced, Enovert are now applying a geotextile membrane to their tip area visible from Walsall Road- and this was confirmed in a council statement on the website, but this is surely just a sticking plaster, as the London based trumpers continue to pump their obnoxious gas. They apparently have permission to do what they are doing at this site till at least 2025.

In these troubled times when people are being forcibly confined to barracks, except for a bit of in- out daily exercise, perhaps the only solution for fresh air is to don your trusty SM-74 when venturing into the vicinity of this repugnant Enovert receptacle.
