The Rattlechain lagoon site is surrounded by public and private land, with many long histories associated to these landscapes which have also changed over time. We will look at some of these wider areas here, to illustrate that this site will continue to affect decisions made concerning these areas, as well as their integrity in the future, regardless of whatever “remediation” the site may undergo.
