Two different points at the site were used at different times. One named &#8220;the beach area&#8221; saw a solidified area of white solid often build up above the level of the water. This sometimes <a title=\"smoke on the water\" href=\"http:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/02\/scan0027.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">caught fire or began to smoke<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>The long <a title=\"pipey\" href=\"http:\/\/www.saveoursandwellcanadageese.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/2009_0507rhodia0011.jpg\" target=\"_blank\">iconic centre pipe <\/a>was mainly used in the end phase of waste operations, where it also became a roosting point for many wildfowl- thus attracting them to the site. <a title=\"the preposterous line up\" href=\"http:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/?page_id=2505\" target=\"_blank\">Deluded individuals within the company <\/a>believed that this operation was a first class example of how to run a waste management site.
