exercises in Portishead.\u00a0<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Their site safety record throughout their dire history <a href=\"https:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/?p=14733\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">was shocking.<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Jim wrote (and I&#8217;ve added relevant links)&#8230;.<\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;I worked for Rhodia\/Albright and Wilson, and remember the Rattlechain lagoon well , at one point recently wildlife were dying in that area.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\"><a style=\"color: #ff0000;\" href=\"https:\/\/www.saveoursandwellcanadageese.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2016\/11\/Scan_20161104-2.png\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">\u201cSCIENTISTS have confirmed a deadly link between a toxic Black Country lake and the deaths of hundreds of animals over the last decade, the Sunday Mercury can reveal.\u00a0<\/a><\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">The<a href=\"https:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/?page_id=7164\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"> lab results prove<\/a> that birds have died after ingesting highly poisonous white phosphorus in Rattlechain Lagoon in Oldbury\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">My knowledge of the Rattlechain lagoon was that numerous hazardous chemicals were disposed of there, some chemicals were put into plastic drums and when they were put into the Rattlechain lagoon they floated on the top, it was then the job of the \u201cYard Foreman\u201d to have to shoot at the drums with a shotgun to let the air out and to let them sink. (Mike Peters) ed.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Phosphorous! know it well, I was sent into a Phosphorous Fire without Breathing Apparatus and, 6 minutes later my lungs were damaged and I now have lung problems, I won a personal injury claim! Phosphorous if left under water is &#8220;safe&#8221;, expose it to air and it will ignite. If any Phosphorous is in the Rattlechain lagoon its safe once you bring it up into the air it will burn, see below.<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">&#8220;CHEMICAL DANGERS:<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Phosphorus spontaneously ignites on contact with air, producing toxic fumes (phosphorus oxides).<\/span><\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><em><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">Phosphorus reacts violently with oxidants, halogens, some metals, nitrites, sulfur, and many other compounds.
