The table below gives the names and quantities involved for these &#8220;very toxic chemicals&#8221;.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><strong>NB THE BREAKDOWN PRODUCTS OF THESE CHEMICALS ARE ALSO THEMSELVES &#8220;VERY TOXIC CHEMICALS&#8221;, BUT THIS DOESN&#8217;T EVER APPEAR TO BE CONSIDERED BY THE HSE. WE HAVE ALSO LISTED THESE HERE. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/scan0004.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" src=\"http:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/scan0004.jpg\" alt=\"scan0004\" width=\"657\" height=\"331\" \/><\/a><\/p>\n<p>The HSE had no objections but suggested a condition be in place to store the substances in the poly phosphoric acid building only. Rhodia had wanted to store them anywhere on the site,\u00a0and Tom Dutton queries the decision notice in a letter to the council dated\u00a0\u00a0MARCH 16TH 2005. These chemicals are known as <span style=\"font-size: 24pt;\"><a title=\"Biocides\" href=\"http:\/\/en.wikipedia.org\/wiki\/Biocide\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">BIOCIDES<\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong>IT SHOULD BE NOTED THAT RHODIA CLAIM TO NOT TEST SUBSTANCES ON ANIMALS, YET THIS, THEIR OWN CHEMICAL OPENLY STATES &#8220;UNPUBLISHED REPORTS&#8221; OF SUCH, INCLUDING THE GHASTLY PRACTICE OF RUBBING BLINDING SUBSTANCES INTO RABBITS EYES. THEIR CLAIMS ARE THEREFORE LIES.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000; font-size: 24pt;\">TOLCIDE C80\u00a0<\/span><\/strong>Also known as <strong><span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">(benzothiazol-2-ylthio)methyl thiocyanate.<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/whatliesbeneathrattlechainlagoon.org.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/05\/http___planapps.sandwell.gov_.uk_WAM_doc_Other-173511.pdf_extension.pdf\">http___planapps.sandwell.gov.uk_WAM_doc_Other-173511.pdf_extension=<\/a><\/p>\n<p>This chemical marketed by Rhodia as (TCMTB) is a non-metallic organosulphur compound in liquid form.\u00a0 It is used in various stages of leather production and preservation applications. The data sheet identifies that the chemical is<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>&#8220;VERY TOXIC BY INHALATION&#8221;\u00a0 <\/strong><\/li>\n<li><strong>&#8220;INHALATION MAY BE FATAL.&#8221;<\/strong><\/li>\n<li>.&#8221;<strong>&#8220;VERY TOXIC TO AQUATIC ORGANISMS. They did not issue a safety data sheet for this chemical as part of the application.<\/p>\n<p><strong><big>Potential Health Effects <\/big><\/strong><br \/>\n<strong>Eye:<\/strong> Causes eye irritation. Risk of serious damage to eyes.<br \/>\n<strong>Skin:<\/strong> Causes skin irritation. May cause skin sensitization, an allergic reaction, which becomes evident upon re-exposure to this material. May be harmful if absorbed through the skin.<br \/>\n<strong>Ingestion:<\/strong> May cause irritation of the digestive tract. Toxic if swallowed.<br \/>\n<strong>Inhalation:<\/strong> May cause allergic respiratory reaction. May cause respiratory tract irritation. May be harmful if inhaled.<br \/>\n<strong>Chronic:<\/strong> Chronic exposure may cause liver damage. Laboratory experiments have resulted in mutagenic effects. Chronic exposure may cause blood effects. Repeated or prolonged exposure may cause allergic reactions in sensitive individuals. Exposure to high concentrations may cause central nervous system depression.
