Upwards my gaze watches the night,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

The still white clouds that spring to life,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

With drowning breath my dying quest,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

To join that heavenly herd in rest.<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

My busking chariot’s charging might<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

Climbs the air in ghostly flight<\/strong><\/span>.<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

I leave no estate, possessions nil<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

My death is left to Nature\u2019s will.<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

To the waters my body committed,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

A fiery foxes hunger remitted,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

To the earth my bones lie battered,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

To the winds my feathers scattered,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

And to the young man who picked but one,<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n

From that quill my soul lives on……<\/strong><\/span><\/sub><\/span><\/p>\n
